Delegation of Zamindars calls on QESCO chief

QUETTA: A delegation of Zamindar Action Committee called on the Chief Executive Officer of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO), Engineer Balighur Rehman here the other day.
The issues being faced by the zamindars due to the load shedding of electricity came up for discussion. The issue of non-payment of the utility bills and dues was also discussed during the meeting of QESCO chief with the Zamindars.
The CEO QESCO gave a patient hearing to the issues of zamindars and assured to supply electricity for eight hours, however, he called on them to ensure payment of at least 50 percent of dues.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the Committee was held with its vice Chairman, Malik Naseer Ahmed in the chair the other day. The participants discussed the issues related to power load shedding in the province.
