UoB opened door for higher studies in Balochistan, says Dr. Javed Iqbal

QUETTA: Vice Chancellor of University of Balochistan, Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal has said that the research activities are being promoted in the University.
This, he stated while addressing closing session of the two-day workshop held under the auspices of Botany department of the University the other day.
The workshop was organized in collaboration with United State Education Foundation in Pakistan and Bolan Society for Pure and Applied Biology.
He said that the students are being provided ample opportunities for study and research in the University. He also said that the University has opened the doors of higher studies in the province.
The Vice Chancellor on the occasion stressed the need to hold similar orientation sessions for the scholars so that they are able to progress and build their capacity.
In the end, certificates were distributed among participants of the workshop.
Also present on the occasion were the Registrar of UoB, Muhammad Tariq Jogezai, Principal Organizer of the workshop, Dr. Younas Khan, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Rasool Bakhsh Tareen, Professor Dr. Kabir Khan, Dr. Ata Muhammad Sarangzai and other faculty members.
