QUETTA: One-day international seminar on “research in pharmacy: opportunities for pharmacists to contribute in healthcare system†is scheduled to be held Monday (today) at a local hotel here.
The Vice Chancellor of UoB, Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal would inaugurate the seminar.
The Faculty of Pharmacy, UoB is going to organize the seminar that would cover: locally available medicinal plants and their importance in the healthcare; drug designing and formulation, latest techniques including pharmcogenomics, pharmacoprotienomics, DNA replication, pharmacological importance of drugs; identification, analysis and quality control and assurance; issues related to drug use (clinical trials, pharmacoeconomics, drug abuse, ADR and misuse); complementary and alternative treatment methods.
The last date for submission of research abstract, oral / poster presentation had been fixed as the May 23, 2015.
