Tracker system to be installed in QMC’s vehicles to stop their misuse

QUETTA: The Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) has decided to install tracker system in its vehicles in order to stop their unfair use as well as wastage of the public exchequer.
This was stated by the Deputy Mayor of QMC, Muhammad Younas Baloch while talking to the media here the other day.
He said that tracker system is being introduced in the QMC vehicles with cooperation of the Chief Minister Punjab in order to make the monitoring more effective.
He said that special directives have been issued to the concerned authorities to ensure attendance of all staff of the Corporation at their workplaces. The list of all the employees have been has been sought from the concerned in this regard as well, he maintained.
In order to ensure attendance, the biometric system would also be introduced in the Corporation for all employees and staff serving from Grade-1 to 17.
It would also help trace the “ghost” employees in the Corporation, he maintained. He said that the sweepers and other sanitary staff have been warned to be present at their duties, otherwise legal action would be taken against them.
Similarly, we are also not going to make any compromise over the issue of encroachments, and thus necessary steps have been taken to remove the same, he maintained.
