Goods Truck owners demand protection

QUETTA: The Balochistan Goods Truck Transporters Association has demanded of the provincial government to take serious notice of the incidents of kidnapping of truck drivers on the Jacobabad-Sibi highway.
A meeting of the Association was held with its President, Noor Ahmed Kakar in the chair.
The participants were critical of the government and the district administration for their failure in provision of security to the goods owners on highways in the province.
They particularly pointed out towards the kidnapping of six truck drivers on the Jacobabad-Sibi highway.
They said that while the truck drivers are being targeted, the government should take notice of the situation coming to their rescue and providing them the safe journey.
