QUETTA: The Secretary Home, Captain ® Akbar Hussain Durrani has directed to all the concerned departments to ensure implementation on the Ehtram-e-Ramzan Ordinance 1981 during the month of Ramazan.
In this regard, he also directed to seek wholehearted cooperation of the civil society particularly the religious leaders.
The Secretary Home was chairing a meeting on the issues of security as well as other matters related to controlling price hike establishing the prices of edibles and other essential items, here the other day.
The Commissioner Quetta Division, Kambar Dashti, Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Dawood Khan Khilji, representatives of the Anjuman Tajran Balochistan and other traders’ organizations and the concerned high ups.
The meeting also finalized the arrangements for setting up of sasta bazaars in the provincial metropolis.
The Secretary Home on the occasion directed to adopt security measures during the holy month all over the province including Quetta.
He also directed to increase security of the mosques and Imambargahs particularly during the Sehr-o-Iftar and Taraveeh timings.
The meeting decided to set up sasta bazaars at different places during the holy month.
Moreover, it was told that sasta flour stalls would be established by the Food department at different places.
Moreover, the provision of cheaper goods would also be made available through the Utility Stores Corporation.
