Crackdown continues against profiteers

QUETTA: The crackdown against profiteers is continued in different parts of the metropolis and its suburbing areas.
The Special Magistrates Babarak Khan and Shafi Agha conducted raids on Circular Road and Joint Road and inspected some 30 shops there.
They sent seven shopkeepers to jail for fifteen days charging them fine of Rs. 10,000.
Moreover, Special Magistrate Inayatullah conducted raids on Spinny Road and Kuchlak. He inspected some 35 shops. Six shopkeepers were arrested on the charges of profiteering. Rs. 28,450 were also fined to the shopkeepers in this regard.
Needless to mention here is that the campaign had been launched on directives of the Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Dawood Khilji.
