Our youth equally talented, says Nawab Shahwani

QUETTA: The Minister Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani has stated that our youth are equally talented and they have earned laurels and as such it is need of the hour to encourage them and provide them the necessary opportunities to show and prove their talent.
This, he stated while addressing the closing ceremony of All Balochistan Youth Talent Hunt Programme organized by the Youth Affairs department here the other day. The Secretary Ombudsman, Riaz Ahmed, Provincial Election Commissioner, Syed Sultan Bayazeed, Principal Government Degree Girls College Quetta Cantonment, Professor Ms. Shagufta Iqbal, Joint Director Colleges, Professor Ms. Rubaba Hameed Durrani, Director Youth Affairs, Afzal Sulehri, Additional Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Khan, Bugti, former Secretary, Abdul Rasheed Tareen, Nawabzada Haroon Raisani and others.
The Minister S&GAD maintained that wholehearted steps would be taken to encourage the youth and promote their talent in the province. He said that the intelligent youth are our asset and the government iscommitted to patronize them at every platform. He said that our youth have to take reign of the country in future, so it is our responsibility to make their future better.
He on the occasion appreciated the role of the Youth Affairs department for providing platform to youth to show their talent. It would go a long way in tapping talent in the youth, he added.
It is good to see the Youth Affairs department arranging different programmes and providing youth the necessary encouragement.
Earlier, Director Youth Affairs, Afzal Sulehri presented welcome address.
He said that despite the limited resources, the department is taking steps for provision of facilities to the youth.
He said that there is no dearth of talent in our youth, what’s needed is to provide them the desired opportunities to demonstrate their skills.
Meanwhile, the competitions of music, wall painting and speech as well as a poetry session was held under the Talent Hunt Programme.
