Compensation cheques distributed among heirs of polio workers

QUETTA: The cheques of compensation were distributed among the heirs of the deceased polio workers killed in Murgha Kibzai area of Zhob on February 17, 2015.
The District Health Officer Zhob, Dr. Akhtar Mandokhail distributed the cheques amounting to Rs. 4 million at a ceremony that was also attended by the President Para Medical Staff Association, Muhammad Tahir Hootak, leader of the APCA, Rab Nazar Harifal, Sher Zaman Mandokhail and others.
Addressing the ceremony, the DHO said that we are grieved over the killing of polio workers and as such strongly condemn the incident.
He also paid rich tributes to the deceased polio workers for the great service they rendered serving the cause of humanity.
Special prayer was also offered for the departed souls of the polio workers.
