TAMBOO June 21 (PPI): Pakistan People?s Party views sacrifices of Pakistan Army with respect. For stability of country, national security and strong federation Party leadership has rendered immense sacrifices. We are democratic people and would continue to raise voice of truth and righteousness.
These views were expressed by President PPP Balochistan and former provincial minister Muhammad Sadiq Umrani while speaking to Newsmen here by telephone from Karachi Friday.
Sadiq Umrani said pushing party to wall would be detrimental for democracy and democratic institutions. Nawab Sharif and his accomplices did not take lesson from past. He said PP is party of 180 million people of Pakistan which has always fought dictatorship and dictatorial forces. It is proud of sacrifices and capacity of Pakistan Army. Co Chairman PPP Asif Zardari has rendered numerous sacrifices for democracy and tolerated difficulties and worries of jails. At the death of Benazir Bhutto he raised slogan of Pakistan Khappay. Still efforts continued to push the party towards wall would be harmful for democratic system.
He strongly lashed at the Federal budget and said it is economic murder of poor people and employees. Electricity load shedding all over country during Ramzan speak well of failure of federal government, he added.
