QUETTA: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO), Balighuz Zaman has assured that the work on New Hazara Town Feeder would be started soon to provide relief to the people of the area.
This assurance, the CEO gave during his meeting with a delegation of Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) here the other day.
The delegation included the councilors belonging to the HDP informed the Chief of QESCO about the electricity crisis in Hazara Town, Killi Khalai and adjacent areas and the issues being faced by people of the area.
Member of the District Council Quetta, Muhammad Raza Hazara informed the CEO that the people of the areas of Hazara Town and Hazar Ganji are facing immense problems due to delay in work on the New Hazara Town Feeder.
He pointed out that 18 hours load shedding is being observed daily in their areas, which is causing great hardships to the people.
He said that the Commissioner Quetta Division has also assured to remove the hurdles in the way of the Feeder. The CEO QESCO assured to address the issue. He also directed to the concerned to take necessary steps for starting the work on the Feeder so that the people may get relief.
He also assured to reduce the timing of load shedding in the Hazara Town area.
The councilors of HDP also had meetings with the Commissioner Quetta, Kambar Dashti and Chairman Board of Directors of QESCO, Abdul Khaliq Baloch.
They also informed them about different issues of people of the areas.
