ANP condemns electricity extensive load shedding

QUETTA: The Awami National Party (ANP) has condemned the electricity load shedding, fluctuation in voltage and the shortage of water during the holy month of Ramadanul Mubarak.
In a statement issued here from the provincial office of ANP, it was pointed out that the issue of water shortage coupled with lengthy load shedding of electricity and the persistent issue of fluctuation in its supply has made the life of the common men miserable in Quetta and other parts of the province.
It was stated that the people neither have the facility of electricity nor they have the water in different parts of the city and the suburing areas of Nawan Kili, Kuchlak, Kharotabad, Pashtoonabad and other ones.
The people of these areas are forced to purchase water from the private water tanker operators. They are fully dependent on the private water tanker operators to meet their domestic requirements. Even they are not being supplied water for drinking purposes what to talk about for other daily use.
It was demanded of the WASA to fulfill its responsibilities regarding supply of water to the people. While on the other hand, the electricity is not being supplied on regular basis when the weather is turning hot with every passing day rather the people are also facing the issue during the Iftar-o-Sehr as well as Taraveeh timings. It was demanded of the QESCO and WAPDA authorities to ensure smooth supply of electricity particularly during the Iftar-o-Sehr and Taraveeh all over the province including Quetta so that the people may not face any incontinence during the special hours.
