QUETTA: Four milk sellers were sent to Jail on the charges of violation of official price list in the metropolis.
The action was taken during inspection of a team comprising the Special Magistrate headed by the Assistant Commissioner Quetta City, Tariq Mengal in the surrounding areas of Bacha Khan chowk.
During the crackdown against the profiteers, around 400 liter milk of the sellers was also auctioned in the public.
The campaign had been launched against the profiteers on special directives of the Deputy Commissioner, Dawood Khan Khilji, who also happens to be the Chairman Quetta District Price Control Committee.
