Chief Minister announces compensation for heirs of flash flood victims

QUETTA: The Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has announced to give compensation to the heirs of those lost lives in the flash flood in the area of Sub-Tehsil Saroona of Khuzdar district.
The compensation would be given to the bereaved families of the victims of flash floods as per the government’s policy, as announced in an official hand out issued here the other day.
It may be mentioned here that as many as 16 persons including children and women were killed after the flash flood swept them in Shah Noorani area of Sub-Tehsil Saroona few days back while four others lost their lives in the area the other day.
The relief activities were started on emergent basis by the district Khuzdar administration to provide relief to those affected in the flash flood in the area.
The relief teams led by the Deputy Commissioner reached in the area.
Different relief items including the food packets, edibles, tents and other necessary goods were also provided by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
