Chief Secretary directs to ensure full security of general public

QUETTA: The Chief Secretary Balochistan, Saifullah Chattha has directed to the concerned authorities to ensure full security of the people in the shopping centers, markets and bus terminals in view of rush in the last ashra (10 days) of the holy month of Ramadanul Mubarak.
This directive, he issued while chairing a high level meeting on the law and order situation in the province, here the other day. Those who were present in the meeting were included: Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Amlish, Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs, Captain ® Akbar Hussain Durrani, Deputy Inspector General of Police Quetta, Abdul Razzaq Cheema, Commissioner Quetta, Kambar Dashti and other concerned.
The meeting reviewed law and order in the province in general and in Quetta in particular.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary noted with contentment that although remarkable improvement has been made in the situation of Balochistan, however, still there’s a need to bring more in this regard.
Saifullah Chattha on the occasion directed to ensure safety of the people busy in Eid shopping in markets and shopping centers during the last 10 days of Ramadanul Mubarak.
He also directed to adopt special safety measures at the bus terminals, shopping centers and other public places. Special security measures should also be taken at the highways all over the province so as to secure travelling there, he stressed further.
The Chief Secretary also directed to take measures for ensuring smooth flow of traffic on the Quetta city roads during the Iftar timing and other rush hours in night during Ramadanul Mubarak.
