Traffic Police to launch drive against encroachments

QUETTA: The Traffic Police has decided to launch operation clean-up against the encroachments in the main city area.
According to the Senior Superintendent of Traffic Police, Hamid Shakeel, the operation would be carried out against the show rooms as well as the garages and the whole sellers causing disruption in the traffic flow.
The operation would help ensure smooth flow of traffic in the provincial metropolis particularly in its rush areas including Suraj Ganj Bazaar, Masjid Road, Tola Ram Road, Abdul Sattar Road, Double Road, Sariab Road, Joint Road and other areas.
He told the media that those who have developed encroachments in these areas would not be spared and legal action would be taken against them.
All the traders, show room owners and shopkeepers would be made bound to remain in their own limits avoiding encroachments so that the traffic issues may be avoided, he maintained.
