Old age welfare home project completed; inauguration to be made soon

QUETTA: A meeting of the Idara-e-Behbood Umar Raseeda (Old age welfare Institute) was held with Brigadier ® Abdul Razzaq Baloch in the chair here the other day.
Those who attended the meeting were included the Board’s members including Bashir Ahmed Mian, Murad Baloch, Professor Abdul Qayum, Shamsul Islam, Ms. Naheed Karim and Ms. Ghazala Sher Muhammad.
The meeting was informed that the building of the Institute has been completed. The necessary domestic items, appliances and accessories have been made available in the building.
For the purpose, the USAID, German Consulate and Habib Bank limited provided financial assistance.
Initially, the free accommodation as well as the necessary facilities of medical, food and meal would be provided to 18 deserving aged females in the Institute.
According to the Brigadier ® Abdul Razzaq, the Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and Commander Southern Command, Lt. General Nasser Khan Janjua would inaugurate the project soon.
He said that it would be a unique project of its nature in Balochistan where the deserving aged women would be provided first class facilities.
Although, the aged persons are given due respect and attention in our society, but still some aged lack the support and living in certain circumstances.
All the board members appealed to the philanthropists from all walks of life to visit the project located on Samunlgi road and give donations for the project.
This would help provide facilities to the residents in the Old age home. The Board members on the occasion also thanked the Member Provincial Assembly, Ms. Rahila Hameed Durrani and all other concerned for their cooperation in the project
