HQ: National Accountability Bureau has traced the biggest corruption of the country and recovered huge amounts including 2.4 million dollars, 15 thousand Pounds, Rupees 50 million prize bonds. It totals Rupees 651.8 million and arrested secretary Finance Balochistan.
This was stated by Director General NAB Balochistan Major (R ) Tariq Mahmood Malik while speaking with newsmen here Saturday.
He said according to preliminary investigaiton corruption has been made from the funds of Rupees 1.5 billion during PSDP from 2013 to 2015 used in Khaliqabad and Mach. NAB traced this case after one year investigaiton.
He said NAB Balochistan has also traced Rupees 1.5 billion corruption in the funds of Locla government. Finance Department record has been taken into custody he added.
DG NAB Balochistan said that dollars, pounds, prize bonds and Pakistani currency has been recovered during raid at residence of Mushtaq Raisani. Besides information have also been received about his property in Karachi and Quetta.
He said 14 days remand of Mushtaq Raisani has been obtained. He said in light of evidences action would be taken against others. He said if proofs were available action would also be taken against Adviser Finance Khalid Langav who had resigned from his office.
Replying to another question DG NAB said that investigaiton were being made against 400 politicians, bureaucrats and others in Balochistan.
Referring to corruption I Food Department he said former Food Minister is on bail. Progress has also been made in Public Service Commission case and two arrests have been made.
