Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri - Anti Polio drive

QUETTA July 24 (PPI): Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has directed health Department and other concerned quarters for mobilization all available resources for the success of three day anti polio drive commencing form Monday in 10 districts of the province. He has also directed district administrations to ensure security of polio teams and providing them all facilities.
He has also appealed to the parents to feed anti polio drops to their children during the drive so that we could give a healthy and secure future to our coming generations.
Chief Minister said provincial government was paying attention on elimination of social weaknesses besides resolving problems of people, multidimensional development of the province and establishing law and order. Polio is a major weakness of our society and without removing it concept of educated and healthy Balochistan is not possible. Our mentally and physically health children can change this concept in to reality. He said eradication of fatal diseases including polio definitely responsibility of government but every individual of society has to play its role . He called upon social, tribal, political leaders and Ulema to create awareness among masses bout end of polio. He said by providing assistance to volunteers team of polio we can take part in this task.
He expressed optimism that soon province would be freed of polio completely. He said polio situation is satisfactory at present and during the current year only one case was reported.
