Driver killed in firing on truck
SIBI Sep 21 (PPI): A truck driver was killed in firing his truck near Bakhtiarabad Wednesday.
According to details highwaymen signaled a truck No.TKM-883 to stop in Levies Thana Bakhtiarabad area along National highway today. Drive accelerated his truck. Thereupon highwaymen opened fire on the truck. Truck Driver Muhammad Nawaz died in the firing while conductor Muhammad Shahzad sustained injuries. Highwaymen made good their escape from the spot.
Dead and wounded were shifted to Bakhtiarabad hospital. Dead body was later delivered to its relatives.
Local administration initiated a probe.
