QUETTA Sep 25 (PPI): Ulema and religious parties should play for success of anti polio drive to commence on September 26 for the elimination of this fatal disease. We all have to wage frit bearing efforts to cleanse Balochistan of polio.
These views were expressed by Spokesperson government of Balochistan Anwarul Haq Kakar while speaking two delegations from Loralai and Muslimbagh at his residence here Sunday.
He told that during three day drive over 2.475 million children would be fed anti polio drops. He aid feeding polio drops create anti power against polio and they remain safe from life long disability.
He said wrong propagandas wee made about polio in the past but Ulema and religious scholars at the national and international levels issued fatwas in support of feeding polio drops.
He said during anti polio drive commencing on September 26 Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has issued special directives to Secretary Health and Inspector General Police for providing security to polio workers and volunteers and for success of anti polio drive. Strict action would be taken against those showing negligence and lapse in this regard, he added.
