QUETTA Sep 25 (PPI): Officers and officials shld mobilize their energies for mobile meter reading, decrease in line losses and raise in recoveries.
This was stated by Chief Executive Officer of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) Rehmatullah Baloch while addressing performance meeting.
General Manager Operation Dr Karim Baloch, Additional director General HR and Admin Syed Uzair Ali, and other executive engineers and other officers wee present.
Rehmatullah Baloch said steps would be taken for improving company’s performance further and providing better services to the consumers and various administrative and technical methods and mobile reading should be paid special attention.
He said installation of new meters in all city feeders and rural areas and PHE schemes should be completed at the earliest. Moreover repair of long feeders conductors and change and their bifurcation process should also be implemented earliest so that line losses are reduced to a great extent.
He said efforts should continue combing of big losses feeders and stopping electricity thefts.
Superintending engineers of Central, Sibi, Loralai, Pishin and Khuzdar circles briefed Chief Executive of mobile meter reading and said that it was bringing positive results.
