QUETTA Sep 30 (PPI): Pakistan Air Force is leading in welfare projects along with professional matters.
This was stated by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief marshal Sohail Man while addressing foundation stone laying ceremony of Yunusabad Welfare City attributed to Shaheed Flt Lieutenant Yunus Hussain Shaheed at Samungli Air Base here Friday.
Chef of Air Staff said Yunusabad is joint welfare project of Air Force and Rashid Mahmood Welfare Organisation in which poor and deserving people wold be provided facilities of education, health and skill. He said these projects are for common people indiscriminately. The sapling we are planting today would become a full fledged tree for Pakistan and its fruit would be eaten up by coming generations.
He was of the view that it is extremely happy occasion to launch this project in Balochistan. He aid similar projects are also under consideration Gwadar, Khyber Pashtoonkhwa and Southern Punjab.
Former Chief of air Force Tariq Rafiq butt in his address said that such projects are aimed at to provide standard education and health facilities to the rural people. It would benefit common people.
He laid foundation Stone of the project on the occasion.
Wife of Flt Lt Yunus Shaheed was also present during the ceremony.
