QUETTA Oct 4 (PPI): For good governance it is necessary that officers and officials demonstrate seriousness and promptness for discharge of their duty making their steps timely and meaningful. To beautify performance timely solution of any problem is necessary.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai while speaking with a delegation led by Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Daud Muhammad Barech here Tuesday.
Secretary Finance Akbar Hussain Durrani, Principal Secretary to Governor Abdul Jabbar, Additional Secretary Education Aziz Ahmed Jamali and Chief of Balochistan Education Foundation Professor Dr Abdul Tawab were also present.
Governor said mere educational qualification for officers and officials is not enough but they have to be fully active in time with sense of responsibility.
During meeting performance of Balochistan Education Foundation, problems and resources came under discussion.
Governor said holding annual audit of all the government departments including BEF s necessary. Without this proper use of budget and improving performance of institution is not good. S Through timely audit transparency in use of public resources can be ensured while this can help improving working and restoring confidence of people in the organisation. He said implementation of government measures particularly development projects should be visible and its fruits should reach to common man. He said tradition of one room school has been ended and building different class rooms would be must. He said children are our future and equipping them with modern education a bright future can be ensured.
Abdul Rauf Kasi and Director General Benazir Income Support Programme Abdul Malik Durrani also called on Governor.
