QUETTA Oct 21 (PPI): Federation would be strengthened with the progress and prosperity of federating units. There prevails sense of deprivation and backwardness in Balochistan during the past mistakes and injustices and it can be removed by meaningful measures for people’s development and prosperity. Due to people friendly efforts of present elected government situation has improved but there is much more to be done to stabilize masses confidence in the government policies and present system.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai while speaking with a delegation which met with him under the leadership of Secretary Nazria Pakistan Trust Shahid Rasheed here Friday.
Governor said that it is not disappointing of differences and complaints among masses but by promoting democracy and democratic values these problems and difficulties can be resolved easily. He expressed satisfaction that democratic process was continuing in the country and prospects are brightened for resolving all problems and difficulties through mutual consultation and consent and talks.
He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor project is staring point in the region for extraordinary development activities and no doubt a new era of progress and prosperity would start in Pakistan and Balochistan however reservations of local population and benefiting maximum people is very much necessary so that all the people could own this project.
Welcoming powers entrusted under 18 th amendment of the constitution Governor said that it should had been done much earlier however this would bring positive and better results even now.
He said major portion of our population comprises young people. They should be equipped with modern education particularly skillful and technical education so that they utilize their energies for the development of nation and country.
