AJK legislative assembly condemns Quetta carnage
MUZAFFARABAD, Oct 28 (APP): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK)
LLegislative Assembly on Friday condemned terrorists attack on
Police Training College in Quetta and expressed solidarity with the
families of deceased persons through a unanimous resolution.
The resolution was moved in the house by Minister Information
Mushtaq Mehnas and a number of legislators spoke on its favor
condemning the terrorists including Raja Masood Khan, Naureen Arif,
Sardar Farooq Sikander and Naseema wani.
The resolution said sacrifices made by people of Pakistan
will bring fruit soon and nation would successful to overcome the
menace of terrorism from the country and the people of Azad Kashmir
were fully backing them to achieve the goal.
The house also adopted another resolution tabled by treasury
member Raja Muhammad Sadiq Khan condemning the plan of Tehreek-e-
Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to lock down Islamabad.
The resolution, while expressing full confidence in the
leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that locking down
capital of the country could cause irreparable loss to the country
besides disturbing every day life of the citizens.
The resolution said this like act could also harm
democracy in the country and derail it from the path of development
and prosperity hence was against the interests of people and
country.
It appealed to political forces in Pakistan to avoid such like
anarchy in the country when on one side India was killing innocent
civilians on Line of control (LOC) and on other Nation was suffering
due to terrorists attacks.
