QUETTA Oct 30 (PPI): Panama Leaks is the biggest scandal of the world. It is hoped PPP bill would be passed before Nov 7. If our demands were not met by Dec 27, then election campaign can be launched earlier.
These views were expressed by Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while speaking with Journalists after enquiring after health of injured policemen injured in PTC attack here Sunday.
He was accompanied by Central Spokesperson Qamar Zaman Kaira, former President PPP Balochistan Sadiq Umrani, former federal ministers Sardar Omar Gorgej, Changez Jamali and others.
Earlier he was accorded warm welcome by Central and provincial leaders of PP upon arrival at Quetta International airport by special plane today. He was brought to civil hospital in a procession.
At this occasion strict security measures were made. From airport to civil hospital forces were deployed. In addition personal security of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also remained engage for his security.
During talks his eyes were filled with tears while speaking of his mother Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He said he desired to come to Balochistan since long and today it was met.
He said he was sharing his grief with people o Balochistan. He said this grief of Balochistan people and his family is similar. When his mother Benazir Bhutto returned to Pakistan in 2007 she visited also Balochistan soon after her return. Security institutions expressed danger but she did not care for it and decided not to leave people alone.
Bilawal said when late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was martyred after judicial inquiry PPP raised Pakistan Zindabad slogan and when Benazir Bhutto was martyred it shouted Pakistan Khappay slogan.
He said when incidents of terrorism took place at Karachi Airport and in Balochistan PML-N demanded of Zardari government to quit. Today when tragic incidents have taken place in Balochistan one after the other we can rightly demand Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar should tender resignation and go home because he had photo session with Taliban less than 48 hours of Quetta incident. He said he has made former Mayor Quetta and Dr Asim Ali his prisoner. He asked why it is so.
He said our enemies are active in acts of terrorism in Balochistan. Hazara community people were killed in target killings under a conspiracy and now lawyers and innocent people have been made target. It is open terrorism. PPP he added is only party which sacrificed its leadership including his family and mother.
Bilawal Bhutto was of the view Sindh and Balochistan have good relations and they would work jointly for elimination of terrorism. Our forces including Army and Police were fighting against terrorism with bravery. When PPP was in the field against terrorism why not Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif are not ready.
He said our enemies want CPEC should not meet with success. On the other hand Prime Minister was also conspiring to deprive smaller provinces in this project. PPP during its [period established good relations with China and neighbouring countries to make CPEC a success but government in office soared its relations with neighbors.
He said he was no traditional politician. He is hit by terrorism. We would put country on right path.
PPP took measures such as NFC award and Agha Huqooq Balochistan for accepting rights of smaller provinces. It led smaller provinces to move on path to development.
He said Chief of Army Staff never interfered in politics. There will be democracy in Pakistan. But democracy cannot run without waiting. Unless there is accountability there will be no democracy in the country to run. All the political parties should play their role for maintaining democracy in the country.
It is unfortunate for Imran Khan that without rising finger of umpire his work does not take place and Nawaz Sharif was taking advantage of this weakness.
PPP Chairman was of the view Indian prime minister Modi was conspiring against Pakistan and Muslims at every forum and was trying to declare them a terrorists.
