Toll on fire on Gaddani ship rises to 20

LASBELLA Nov 2 (PPI): Death toll of workers in fire on ship at Gaddani Shi Breaking Yard ha mounted to 20 while 59 are injured.
Deaths have been caused due to breaking out fire at a ship anchored at Gaddani breach for dismantling yesterday. So far 20 death bodies have been recovered besides 58 are injured.
A ban has been imposed on all sorts of work at Gaddani Ship Breaking Yard under section 144 till further orders.
Rupees one million each have been announced from Balochistan chief Minister for workers killed in the fire.
Meanwhile another unserviceable ship anchored at Ship Breaking Yard 50 Km from Karachi in Balochistan. Six unserviceable ships with overall weight of 90 thousand tones have reached in Gaddani waters for dismantling.
