PM Program equipping Balochistan youth with skills
QUETTA, Nov 03 (APP): Deputy Inspector General, Quetta Range, Abdul Razzaq Cheema has said that Prime Minister Youth Development Program has been helping in providing technical training to youth of Balochistan to enable them to earn their livelihood.
He was addressing a certificate distribution ceremony held under Prime Minister Youth Development Program at Women TCC Center Quetta, here on Thursday. He distributed certificates and cash prizes among male and female students who completed their technical and vocational courses under PM Youth Development Program in the provincial capital.
The DIG Quetta said: “Youth of Balochistan are bright future of Pakistan as they are talented and want to play their due role in development of the country and their provinceâ€. He said that Prime Minister Youth Development Program has been bear fruits in Balochistan as tens of hundreds of males and females have been getting education and training of different technical and vocational courses under this program. “The students completing their technical and vocational courses under Prime Minister Youth Development Program can help their families in earning bread for them in a noble way,†he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General, National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Balochistan, Abdul Lateef said that youth of Balochistan had been provided more opportunities than other provinces to get technical and vocational education in order to become a useful citizen of the society. “NAVTTC has provided vocational and technical education and training to 75,000 youth of the country including from Balochistan,†he said. He said that Prime Minister Youth Development Program has been helping in resolving issues of poverty and unemployment in Balochistan.
