Chinese delegate calls on Governor Balochistan
QUETTA, Nov 08 (APP): Governor Balochistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai said that our people have friendly relations with people of China for centuries and added that implementation of China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) is up-gradation of four to five thousands years old trade route of Silk Road.
He was talking to Chinese delegation which headed by Mr. Yuan, the Chief Advisor of Chinese province of Xinjiang called on him at Governor House Quetta, here on Tuesday.
The Governor said that he welcomed transportation of Chinese trade convoy comprising 60 containers which reached Gwadar through Balochistan. “CPEC is going to break frozen state of international economy,†he said.
He told the Chinese delegation that a delegation of Balochistan comprising people from different districts of the province would soon visit China. He said that process of exchange of delegations between China and Pakistan should remain continuing.
Mr. Yuan told the Governor Achakzai that people of China valued love of people of Pakistan for them.
