GOC Special SEcuriyt divison meets CM

QUETTA Nov 8 (PPI): Special Security Division has bene established for the security of CPEC Route and its projects hile another Divison was under consideration of the Federal government. With its approval special Security divisons would be established in South and North.
This was stated by General Officer commanding Special Security Division Major General Abid Rafiq at his meeting with Balochistan chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri here Tuesday.
Secretary Home Dr Akbar Harifal, IG Police Ahsan Mahbub, Secretary Finance Akbar Hussain Durrani, Additional IG Dr Mujeebur Rehman and Secretary Planning Shahar Yar Taj were also present.
Meeting reviewed matters relating to security of CPEC in Balochistan, Gwadar Security plan, security of Chinese nationals.
Coordination Committee was decided with Secretary Home, IG Police, DG levies, IB and CTD officials. Improving security along Coastal Highway was also decided.
Major General Abid Rafiq said that in case of formation of special force for security of CPEC under Balochistan Police, force would be imparted training under Special Security Division.
Chief Minister directed IG Police to take measures for formation of special force of police for security of CPEC.
He said basis of CPEC is Gwadar therefore Gwadar and Balochistan enjoy key position in the project. Therefore measures for route passing through Gwadar Port, city and Balochistan are necessary on priority basis.
