Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA) Observed

QUETTA Nov 21 (PPI): Chelum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) and his companion was observed with religious zeal and reverence in Balochistan as elsewhere in the Country Monday.
Mourning procession with Alam, Tazia and Zuljinah were taken out in the province to mark the day.
Mian Chelum procession was taken out from Imam-Bargah Nasir Abad Alamdar road. After passing through its traditional routes of Alamdar Road, Taj Mohammad Road and Toghi road the procession terminated at the Alamdar Road. All went on well and no unpleasant incident took place.
Administration had made strict security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident.
According to Spokesperson Balochistan Police that more than 3000 security personnel were deployed on the routes of mourning processions while CCTV cameras were also been installed for the monitoring of the procession and its security
Meanwhile, the provincial government has imposed section 144 banning pillion riding, display of firearms, public meeting and processions for one month in Quetta for one month.
