Women, children block road, stage dharna

MASTUNG Dec 18 (PPI): A large number of women and children blocked RCD highway at Kirdgap near here Sunday. After over 10 hours the blockade was removed to facilitate travelers.
According to details authorities arrested four footballers from Kirdgap. Reacting to these arrests a large number of women and children blocked Quetta-Taftan section of RCD highway at Kirdgap at about 8 am this morning. They also staged a dharna along the highway.
Once negotiations between protesting women and administration failed but later women lifted blockade to facilitate stranded travelers along the highway after over 10 hours blockade. They however announced to stage their dharna tomorrow.
